Love was in the air, beautiful boho wedding…yes please!
The wedding of Courtney & Justin was the perfect way to jump off The Barn on Belmont’s busy month of May. Courtney kept us on our toes while she brainstormed unique ways to set her and Justin’s Big Day apart from the rest. She paid great attention to detail and eagerly crafted her own personal touches to add to their decor. Her ability to keep the big picture in mind resulted in a cohesive, colorful design as well as a smooth flow of events throughout the evening. Both Courtney & Justin have bubbly, fun-loving attitudes that made them a joy to work with. Their family and wedding party are equally enjoyable, making for a fun, laid-back good time that was had by all. Take a look at the images below to relive this special day with Courtney & Justin.
On this hot summer day, I am flashing back to just over six months ago when Alison & Brandon exchanged vows in the late afternoon sun of a cold winter day. The Barn on Belmont was truly honored to host this sweet ceremony just months before Brandon lost his battle with melanoma. Every vendor that pulled together to create this Winter Wonderland for Alison & Brandon can agree that their wishes became reality. From the “snow” that showered them as they took their first steps as man and wife to the (very) popular hot chocolate bar, every moment was more heart-felt than the last. Thank you for allowing us to share this special day with you!

On April, 3, 2014, The Barn on Belmont hosted its first-ever Thursday evening wedding for a lovely couple that shared their special day with nearly 150 of their closest family and friends…and boy, was it sweet! The love Bethany & Adam have for each other was obvious to everyone working with this couple, and the photographs below capture that love forever. Their family ties were also unmistakable, as everyone pitched in to make sure their Big Day came together glitch-free.
Pastor Don Allen and his wife Christina, Bethany’s parents, shifted gears from their leadership roles at The Church at War Hill in Dawsonville, GA, to make Bethany & Adam’s dream wedding come true. Pastor Don proved to be the creative genius behind several details of their wedding that took the cake – literally and figuratively! Not only was he responsible for uniting Bethany & Adam in Holy Matrimony, but he also handmade roughly 150 mason jar cakes as wedding favors for their guests. There were multiple flavors to choose from, and each was tied with a fabric swatch of their wedding colors and a piece of twine for that rustic elegance we all love so much. Take a look at these beautiful photographs to relive the wedding day of Mr. & Mrs. Browning!
The wedding season is in full swing here at The Barn on Belmont! We’ll be doing our very best to keep our website as up-to-date as possible by showcasing all of the beautiful spring weddings we hosted so far this year. Today, I would like to share the late-afternoon ceremony of Danielle and Alan Anderson.
This couple was an absolute pleasure to work with from the initial meeting to the long-awaited wedding day. It’s always helpful to work with an organized bride, but Danielle’s vision of her Big Day was crystal clear, and we were so honored to execute it for her and Alan! We used tons of birdcages – some were hung in the tree under which they exchanged their vows, and many others served as centerpieces and decor throughout the reception. Many were adorned with flowers to match their spring color scheme of yellow and blue, tying the entire look together. We also enjoyed meeting their charming family members, who when brought together blend Italian and Greek cultures, making for a great party and a delicious spread of food.
Danielle and Alan are both managers of separate Atlanta-area PetSmart stores, but Danielle is also an aspiring photographer…and one of our favorites to recommend to our lovely brides! We have so greatly enjoy having Danielle back at our venue throughout the year to capture more beautiful weddings and receptions. Check her out for yourself here!
For her own wedding, however, Danielle enlisted the help of her talented pal William Twitty of William Twitty Photography. Of course, we could not have made this day as special as it was for Danielle and Alan without the help and support of our other fabulous vendors! Thank you to all of you for making this wedding celebration so memorable and beyond amazing!
